All the selected candidates have to report to the respective Regional Offices (check details below) for joining on 17th July 2013 at 10:00 AM.  SBI is going to Recruit 10,000 POs and Clerks for this year

Good News friends,  SBI has officially announced that it is going to hire 10,000 officers and employees in the current fiscal. In a meeting with PTI (Press Trust of India), Mr.  Pratip Chaudhuri, the chairman of SBI, rubbishes the rumors which are being circulated by various websites about sbi recruitment of 19k people in June. He has said that the country's largest bank will be hiring only 10,000 people this year, including 1,500 probationary officers, the process for which already started in April. 

"We have upgraded our branches, all have become air-conditioned. We have adequately staffed our branches. In the last quarter, we recruited 20,000 assistant grade employees at front office," he added.

Reason behind this requirement : Around 7,500 will be retiring this fiscal. The bank plans to open about 1,200 new branches in the country and another eight branch offices overseas, including China and the UK, in the current fiscal.

When can we expect clerical notification : Though SBI didn't officially announce specific date, you can expect the notification by July 2nd or 3rd weeks.

 According to sources, Public sector banks hired around 63,000 persons in the last financial year. The State Bank of India alone recruited 20,000 clerical staff and 1,200 officer level employees. Besides, other public sector banks hired 22,000 officers and 20,000 clerical staff in the last fiscal. There were 84,489 vacancies at various levels in the state-owned banks at the end of 2010-11. Most of the state-owned banks have undertaken recruitment drives in recent years.

 Notification Regarding Change in Venues of SBI PO Group Discussion and Interview

Friends, all of you know that the State Bank of India (SBI) has scheduled the Group Discussion and Interview of Probationary Officers (POs)from 3rd July 2013 onwards. Now the bank has announced that the Venues for Group Discussion and Interview for Hyderabad and New Delhi Centers have been changed. All the Candidates are advised to report at the New Venue address on the same date and time as mentioned in their Call Letter downloaded from the Banks Website. They have also been advised by e - mail and SMS on their registered e-mail and mobile numbers. Check remaining details below.

Friends, IBPS has announced a Notice Regarding IBPS CWE POs and Clerks Second List. The Organization stated that the further allotment process will be based only on the Banks' requirement. As all the participated banks of IBPS CWE Program are now busy recruiting the 1st list / 1st round candidates, it may take some more time to furnish the vacancies for 2nd list of POs and Clerks.
