Friends, My panel was very cooperating, when I entered in the interview hall, there are five panel members: 3 males and 2 females, they started to ask 1st question do know about Heavy Water and what is their uses…if know den explain….!!

After that, They asked me to write of five subject according to your area of interest….

  • Software engg.
  • Network
  • Data structure
  • OOPS/JAVA
After that they further told me to write more subjects…
  • Principal of programming lang.
  • Autometa
  • Data Compression
Now the real interview begins-----------
1.    They provide a string   1* 01+0*  , draw NFA and DFA. ?
2.    What is Topology, which type of network and protocol is used..?
3.    Type of Data Structure, Differencaite b/w Lossless & Lossy in the context of Text/Image ?
4.    Explain the concept about Call by value, Call by Referenced via program..?
5.    Assume there is a Sorted Doubly Linked List, if a node is inserted in this list….writed an pseudo code/Algo..?
6.    Functions of OS, explain  difference b/w Realtime & Artificial Operating System..
Windows have which type of OS Quality ?
7.    “  (())(()(  “ check this string is balance or not ? for checking which type of data structure is best ?
ANS:   STACK,  operation for checking using concept like puch down autometa

11.    They also check my GATE Score card, and impressed becoz my Score or percentile is well, scored 41.27 marks in GATE.

There are only 14 candidates appear in 16th August 2013 at the venue out of 50 nearly, my interview was happened in 50 mins approx,

So frnds my personal suggestion is prepare yourself  strong in area of interest…. Be confidant . All the Best.

International Affairs
  • India and the United Kingdom have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together in the field of evidence-informed healthcare policy and practice.
  • India and Iraq, which is second largest oil exporter to the country, today inked a key pact for conclusion of a 13-year-old contract for exploration of an Iraqi block estimated to hold 645 million barrels of in-place reserves under a broad-based energy cooperation agreement.
  • Eyeing deeper economic ties with Sri Lanka, Pakistan today stressed the need for the early conclusion of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two countries.
  • In a surprise move, Microsoft on today announced that CEO Steve Ballmer will retire within 12 months. The company said the board of directors has already initiated the process to find a successor to Ballmer.

National Affairs
  • Food Processing Industries Minister Sharad Pawar informed Rajya Sabha that due to lack of adequate storage infrastructure, fruits, grains and vegetables worth Rs 44,000 crore go waste every year.
  • India and China are set to sign an agreement for cooperation in the road and transport sector when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visits China in October.  
  • The Centre rejects Maharashtra government's plea to ban Abhinav Bharat, the radical Hindutva outfit linked to saffron terror, on grounds of insufficient evidence of its "terror activities" over the last two-three years.

Sports
  • Reigning champions Saurav Ghosal and Joshna Chinappa successfully defended their singles titles in the men's and women's section respectively in the 61st National Squash Championship.
  • SaniaMirza touched another milestone in her career by reaching 25th doubles final at the WTA New Haven Open.

  • Sujatha singh On 1st August, 2013 was appointed as India's foreign secretary.59-year-old Sujatha Singh was earlier ambassador to Germany. She also served as high commissioner to Australia.

2nd  AUGUST
  • India won four medals, including a gold, at the Asian Grand Prix Archery Championship which held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.




3rd AUGUST
  • Britain, Germany and France have joined the US and said they will close their embassies in Yemen on  for security problems and fears of an Al-Qaeda attack.
  • For the first time reverse technology sharing between India and the US, an innovative Explosive Detection Kit developed by Indian scientists would be manufactured in America and sold globally. It is developed for quick detection and  identification of combinations of explosives.

4th AUGUST
  • Bangalore has been ranked among the world’s eight largest technology innovation clusters in a global rating by Massachusetts Institute Technology Review.

5th AUGUST
  • Pico Dragon, the Made-in-Vietnam micro satellite, was launched to the International Space Station ( ISS)  to prepare for a mission in space, state-run Vietnam News Agency reported on 4 August, 2013.


6th AUGUST
  • August 6 was observed as  Organ Donation Day. On that day Various programs, activities and events are being organized throughout India to spread awareness among people about the importance of donation of organ.

7th AUGUST
  • 7th August is the 72nd death anniversary of ‘Kabiguru’ Rabindranath Tagore. Rabindranath Tagore, sobriquet Gurudev, was a Bengali poet, philosopher, artist, playwright, composer and novelist.
  • The Reserve Bank on Wednesday said it imposed a fine of about Rs 5.6 lakh on State Bank of India (SBI) for violation of currency chest norms.

  • According to NASA Europa is the sixth nearest moon of Jupiter is the most likely to place in our solar system beyond Earth to have life.
  • Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova topped the Forbes list of highest-paid female athletes for the ninth straight year

  • The prominent scientist Vinod Prakash sharma receives Gujar Mal Modi Award for Innovative Science & Technology 2013 for his research in malaria,  control and prevention, including other vector borne diseases.
  • On 9 August, 2013 Sudhakar Jayant won gold at world Masters weightlifting championships, that took place in Turin, Italy.

10th AUGUST
  • YSR Congress President and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy tendered his resignation from the Lok Sabha membership, protesting the manner in which the Congress party sought to divide Andhra Pradesh.

11th AUGUST
  • Subramanian Swamy on Sunday announced the merger of his Janata Party with BJP ahead of the 2014 general elections.

12th AUGUST
  • The government of West Bengal  planned to launch priject "Sishu Sathi" on August 21 for free cardic surgery of children irrespective of their financial status.
  • India on 12 August 2013 launched its first ever indigenously designed and built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant in Kochi.
  • Every year on 12 August,2013 is observed as International Youth Day.It mainly focuses on the issue of Youth miigration.

13th AUGUST
  • 13 August, 2013 is the 77th death anniversary of freedom fighter Bhikaji Cama.She was prominent amongst those who all sacrificed their lifes for freedom. Bhikaji  was considered as the mother of Indian Revolution.
  • Shooter ronjan sodhi picked for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award.Cricketer Virat Kohli and rising batminton PV Sindhu recommended for Arjuna Award.
  • Former Prime Minister Keita wins Mali election as opponent admitted defeat.

14th AUGUST
  • The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Centre signed an agreement in New Delhi on 12 August for US $300 million additional loan to upgrade 254 kilometres of deteriorated highways in northern and southern Bihar.
  • Ireland's Robert Heffernan won the 50 kilometres walk title at the Athletics World Championships being held in Moscow.

15th AUGUST
  • India and China to hold next round of Strategic Dialogue in Delhi to discuss issues of waters and border attacks by Chinese troops.
  • In a recent survey conducted by the Airport Council International,Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) of Ahmedabad stood first in terms of passenger satisfaction.
  • The World Bank has signed an agreement with the Indian government to provide a USD 100 million loan to help low-income families secure housing loans.
  • India celebrated its 67th Independence Day on 15th August with utmost fervor.
  • According to latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on 15 August, 2013 P V Sindhu reaches career-best ranking of 10 for the first time , Nehwal stays Fourth.

16th AUGUST
  • Paralympic swimmer Sharath Gayakwad has finished seventh in the 100m breastroke finals at the IPC World Swimming Championships in Montreal, Canada.
  • Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Integration of Republic of Chad Moussa Faki Mahamat, made an official visit to India on 12-13 August 2013. Moussa Faki Mahamat meeted Salman Khurshid, external affairs of India during his visit.The main objective of the visit is increasing bilateral cooperation between the India and Chad.
  • Former Bengal all-rounder Cricketer and Coach Kalyan Mitter passed away on 16 August 2013 in Kolkata. He was 79.
  • UNICEF will conduct a nationwide survey on child trafficking in India.


17th AUGUST
  • Usain Bolt won his third gold medal of the 14th IAAF World Championships on 17 August, 2013 when he led Jamaica to the gold in the 4 x100 metres relay.

18th AUGUST
  • Government plans to set up about 25 branches of the proposed public sector Bharatiya Mahila Bank, India's first all women bank, by the end of this fiscal.
  • Sikkim becomes the only state  to increase forest cover in the past two decades.

19th AUGUST
  • The Indian space agency on 19 August,2013 the geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle (GSLV-D5) carrying GSAT-14 has been put "on hold" due to a leak in the second-stage engine.
  • Victoria Azarenka defeated former World No.1 Serena Williams to win her first Western and Southern Open tennis .title.

  • The spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, General Guide Mohammed Badie, has been arrested in Cairo according to Egypt authorities.

  • The Haryana government to implement 'Mukhyamantri Nishulk Chikitsa Yojana' to provide all types of surgeries free of cost at general hospitals  of the state.
  • The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) on 22 August imposed a penalty of 3.10 crore rupees on Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance for violation of various norms, including those related to early-death claims and group insurance.

Good News Friends, the State Bank of India (SBI) has released the Marks Lists of all the candidates who have cleared the written examination (held on 28th April 2013) and Group Discussions,  Interviews (held in July 2013). The bank has announced the results of SBI PO on 6th August 2013. Now it has came out with the marks list of selected candidates. The candidates have to enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth (or) Registration Number and Date of Birth to check their Marks. All the Best.

But unfortunately by being busy with other posts we have stopped updating Daily Current affairs from 12th July. As the exams are approaching, people have been requesting us to restart the posts. So, we have decided to make time and give regular updates on Daily Current Affairs, irrespective of our other tasks... So, from tomorrow you will get regular updates. But before going to do that, we just want to give a mash up of the days we missed (from 12th July to 21st August 2013). 12 JULY
  • Legendary Bollywood actor Pran died on 12 July, 2013 at the age of 93.His full name was Pran Kishan Sikand.He was given the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2012.He did more than 350 movies.

13 JULY
  • China on 13 July, 2013 cancelled the construction of a six billion dollar nuclear processing plant in Guangdong province apparenly due to public concers over it's safety.The planned industrial park, with a designed capacity of 1,000 tonnes of uranium in 2020, was to feature facilities for uranium conversion, enrichment and manufacturing of nuclear fuel equipment.This is the first nuclear project cancelled by China.

14 JULY
  • Indian Grandmaster and former Abhiji Gupta won the 19th Commonwealth chess championship by garnering nine points from 11 rounds at Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
  • Phil Mickelson won a thrilling sudden-death play-off against South Africa's Branden Grace to win the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart in Inverness in Northern Scotland.

15 JULY
  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 15 July, 2013 imposed fines of around Rs 49.5 crore on 22 private and public sector banks including SBI, PNB and Yes Bank for violating KYC/anti-money laundering norms. It also gave cautionary letters to seven including Citibank and Stanchart following an expose made by an online portal.

16 JULY
  • The Union Government of India on 16 July, 2013 raised the FDI limit in Telecom Sector from 74 percent to 100 percent.

17 JULY
  • Union Cabinet of India on 17 July 2013 gave its approval to rename the Bengaluru International Airport as Kempegowda International Airport to fulfil the long-pending demand of the people of Karnataka.

18 JULY
  • 18 July was observed across the world as Nelson Mandela International Day to earmark freedom, justice and democracy.

19 JULY
  • The ministry of Environment and Forests gave green clearance for an international airport in north Kerala's Kannur district on 19 July, 2013.Kerala today has three international airports at Kozhikode, Kochi and capital Thiruvananthapuram.Kannur airport will be constructed at Keezhallur and Pazhassi Panchayat in Thalassery.
  • UNESCO announced on 19 July, 2013 to name South Korean city of Incheon as the World Book Capital for the year 2015.Incheon comes as the 15th city to be crowned with “World Book Capital”, after Bangkok in 2013 and Port Harcourt in 2014.
  • Australian spin legend  Shane Warne was inducted into the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Hall of Fame.Shane Warne is the 69th male member of the Hall of Fame and the 18th from Australia.

20 JULY
  • Former Union minister Khurshed Alam Khan, father of external affairs minister Salman Khurshid, passed away on 20 July,2013. He was 95.

21 JULY
  • India bagged a Gold medal in the Women's Recurve Team event at the Archery World Cup Stage-3 in Medellin Colombia.

22 JULY
  • Olympian judo player, Manipur's L Brojeshori Devi of Central Reserve Police Force, passed away at Coimbatore.She was 32.Brojeshori was in CRPF Training Centre in Coimbatore since last two months on a Departmental Promotion Training Program.UPA’s special development plan for 82 naxal-affected districts has decreased violence related to left-wing extremism, latest government data shows.

23 JULY
  • If you pollute the Yamuna or dump debris on the river bank, get ready to pay.The National Green Tribunal (NGT) bench headed by Swatanter Kumar on 22 July 2013 invoked the Polluter Pays Principle to deal with the problem of pollution and dumping of debris on the Yamuna bank.

24 JULY
  • Poverty Ratio in India declined to 21.9 percent in 2011-12 from 37.2 percent measured in 2004-05 on the basis of the increase in per capita consumption. The Planning Commission of India on 23 July 2013 released its report on the Poverty Estimates for 2011-12.
  • India’s K. Jennitha Anto became the World chess champion for the disabled after winning the 13th IPCA World women’s individual championship in Velke Losiny, Czech Republic.

25 JULY 
  • President Obama, in his first punitive response to the ouster of Mohamed Morsi as president of Egypt, has halted the delivery of four F-16 fighter planes to the Egyptian Air Force.

26 JULY
  • Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, holed up in Ecuadorian embassy in London for more than a year, on 26 July, 2013  launched his political party in Australia to contest the general elections later this year.


27 JULY
  • Himachel Pradesh state government launched video chat facility in all six prisons of the state .The video conference facility, first of its kind in the country, it helps  to connect prisoners with their family and friends online.Even foreigners can avail this facility.
  • Celebrated biologist Obaid Siddiqi, a scientist nonpareil whose pioneering work shed light on how taste and smell are detected and coded in brain, died following a road accident.

28 JULY
  • The Saudi Arabian government awarded $22.5 billion in contracts to three foreign-led consortia on 28 July,2013 for the design and construction of a metro rail system in the capital Riyadh.
  • Guiness world record holder Jagdish Raj passes away on 28 July, 2013.He was 85 years of age. (He played police officer in 144 times in various movies).

29 JULY
  • If you thought silicon-based transistors were fast, try making electrical switches out of magnetite. Researchers at U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory recently demonstrated electrical switching "thousands of times faster than in transistors now in use" using the naturally magnetic mineral. This scientific finding will enable faster, more powerful computing devices.

30 JULY
  • Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan will be conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Sadbhavna award for 2013.The award will be presented to Khan on late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi's birthday Aug 20.Khan received the Padma Shri in 1975, the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2001.

31 JULY
  • Amid tight liquidity conditions, YES Bank on 31 July,2013 announced a hike in lending and deposit rates. It is the first bank to hike lending rates after the Reserve Bank of India announced measures to tighten liquidity on July 15.
  • According to Forbes list which is released on 30 July, 2013 Angelina Jolie beat younger rivals Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart to be crowned this year’s Hollywood's highest paid actress.Forbes estimates Jolie earned a staggering $33 million over the last 12 months.
