કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની વાસ્તવિકતા

મિત્રો, ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં સરકારી નોકરીઓ માટે સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓનો રાફડો ફાટ્યો છે ત્યારે શિક્ષણની આ ‘બજાર’માં કોચીંગ સેન્ટરો, મેગેઝીનો, પ્રકાશનો, બ્લોગ અને વેબસાઇટ્સનો પણ રાફડો ફાટ્યો છે. ઇન્ટરનેટની આ ત્રીજી પેઢીમાં બ્લોગ બનાવવા આસાન અને ‘મફત’ છે ત્યારે ફક્ત સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓને લગતા જ અસંખ્ય બ્લોગ્સ ગુજરાતમાં જોવા મળે છે. જો કે બ્લોગ જેટલા બનાવવા આસાન છે તેને મેઇન્ટેઇન કરવા તેટલા જ અઘરા છે. ફક્ત ‘શૈક્ષણિક બ્લોગ’ શબ્દ લખી દેવાથી કોઇ વેબસાઇટ /બ્લોગ શૈક્ષણિક થઇ જતો નથી.

--પણ આપણે અહી કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની વાત કરવી છે. જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓ આપી છે અથવા તો જેઓ જૂના છે તે બધા જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની વાસ્તવિકતાઓથી પરિચિત છે જ પણ જે વિદ્યાર્થી મિત્રો આ ક્ષેત્રમાં નવા છે તેઓ કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની ‘ભ્રામક’ જાહેરાતોથી અંજાઇ જાય છે અને તેમાં જોડાય જાય છે. સમાચારપત્રો જોઇએ તો રોજ અસંખ્ય કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની જાહેરાતો જોવા મળે છે જેના પર આકર્ષક મથાળાઓ બાંધેલા હોય છે અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પોતાની ‘જાળ’માં ફસાવીને આ ધીકતો ‘ધંધો’ કરવામાં આવે છે.

દરરોજ પોતાની જાહેરાત સમાચારપત્રોમાં આપતું અને રાજકોટ, અમદાવાદ સહિત ગુજરાતના અમુક શહેરોમાં પોતાનું કોચીંગ ચલાવતી એક સંસ્થાની જાહેરાતોનું સંકલન કરીએ તો એક દળદાર પુસ્તિકા બને તેવા એક કોચીંગ સેન્ટરમાં એક વિદ્યાર્થી જીપીએસસીની વર્ગ 1-2 પરીક્ષાના કોચીંગ માટે જોડાયા. શરૂઆતમાં અનેરો ઉત્સાહ હતો અને એમ હતું કે આ પ્રસિદ્ધ કોચીંગ સેન્ટરમાં 150-200 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અભ્યાસ કરતા હશે અને મને પણ એક સ્પર્ધાત્મક વાતાવરણ મળી રહેશે... –પણ જોડાયા બાદ ખ્યાલ આવ્યો કે જાહેરાતો પાછળ હજારો રૂપીયાનો ખર્ચ કરતા એ કોચીંગ સેન્ટરમાં ફક્ત 9(નવ) જ.... ફરી એકવાર ફક્ત ‘નવ’ જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને જોઇ તે વિદ્યાર્થી હતાશ થઇ ગયા... ! તેમ છતાં પણ પોઝીટીવ એટીટ્યુડ એપ્લાય કરી તે વિદ્યાર્થીએ વિચાર્યુ કે સંખ્યાથી શું ફર્ક પડે? મારે તો ભણવું જ છે. પણ જેમ જેમ દિવસો વિતતા ગયા તેમ તેમ વાસ્તવિકતા સામે આવતી ગઇ કે 8 દિવસ સુધી ત્યા ફક્ત અંગ્રેજીના ‘આર્ટીકલ’ વિશે જ ભણાવવામાં આવ્યુ !!!

કોઇપણ સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષા લગભગ ધોરણ 12 અથવા તો સ્નાતક સ્તર પર યોજવામાં આવતી હોય છે. ઉપરોક્ત કિસ્સામાં જીપીએસસી વર્ગ 1/2ની પરીક્ષાની વાત છે જે સ્નાતક સ્તર પર હોય છે. આવી પરીક્ષા માટે 8-8 દિવસ સુધી જો અંગ્રેજી વ્યાકરણના આર્ટીકલ વિશે જ માહિતી આપવામાં આવે તો તે વાત ગળે ઉતરે તેવી નથી કારણ કે આર્ટીકલ વિશેની મુળભુત માહિતી અતિશય ધીમી ગતિએ આપવામાં આવે તો પણ 1-2 કલાકથી વધુ સમય ન જ લાગે. પણ આ પ્રકારના કોચીંગ સેન્ટર કોર્સ ફી લઇ પરીક્ષા સુધી કોચીંગ આપવાના વાયદા કરી બેઠા હોય છે તેથી તેઓને ફક્ત સમય જ પસાર કરવાનો હોય છે સારા શબ્દોમાં કહીએ તો ‘વિદ્યાર્થીના ભવિષ્ય સાથે ટાઇમપાસ જ કરવાનો હોય છે’ ! 

મિત્રો ઉપરના કિસ્સામાં જણાવ્યું તે ફક્ત એક જ કોચીંગની વાત નથી, તેના જેવા અસંખ્ય કોચીંગ સેન્ટર ગુજરાત ભરમાં પોતાનો ‘વિકાસ’કરી રહ્યાં છે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ આ કિસ્સા પરથી વાત સમજી લેવી જોઇએ અને પોતાની રીતે જ મહેનત ચાલુ કરી દેવી જોઇએ જેથી તેઓની મહેનત પર બીજા કોઇની મહોર લાગી ન જાય...

પરીક્ષાની તૈયારી માટે પાયાનું જ્ઞાન જરૂરી

મિત્રો, આપણે જોઇએ છીએ કે ગુજરાતમાં હાલ સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓનો રાફડો છે. અલગ-અલગ પરીક્ષાઓની જાહેરાતો, ઓજસ વેબસાઇટ હેન્ગ, સાયબર કાફે દ્વારા ખુલ્લી લૂંટ, કોચીંગ સેન્ટરના ધંધા, પ્રકાશનોના ગુણવત્તા વિનાના પુસ્તકો વગેરે જોતા એમ કહી શકાય કે સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓ માટેના ધંધાની સિઝન હવે પુર બહારમાં ખીલી ઉઠી છે !

જ્યા જોઇએ ત્યાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માર્ગદર્શન માટે ફાંફા મારે છે. જ્યા જોવો ત્યા બસ એક જ વાત સંભળાય છે –“તલાટીનું મટીરિયલ ક્યાં મળશે?” –‘ચિટનીશ પરીક્ષાનું મટીરિયલ ક્યાં મળશે?”… કોઇ પાસેથી એવુ સાંભળવા નથી મળ્યુ કે આ પરીક્ષાના સિલેબસમાં જે ગુજરાતી વ્યાકરણ લખ્યુ છે તો તેના માટેની કોઇ શ્રેષ્ઠ પુસ્તક અથવા તે માટેની સામગ્રી ક્યાં મળશે ??? આ એક દુઃખદ વાત છે કે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ મટીરિયલ્સ માટે “આંધળી” દોટ મુકી સમય અને નાણા બન્નેનો વ્યય કરે છે. કારણ કે કોચીંગ સેન્ટરના લીથા અથવા કોઇ પ્રકાશનના વર્ષોથી ચાલ્યા આવતા એક જ પુસ્તકો વાંચવાથી પાસ થઇ શકાશે નહી.

સફળ થવા માટે જો તમારી પાસે પાયાનું જ્ઞાન નહી હોય તો તલાટી જ નહી, કોઇપણ પરીક્ષા પાસ કરવી લગભગ “અશક્ય” છે  કારણ કે ફક્ત વૈક્લ્પિક પ્રશ્નોત્તરી વાંચી લેવાથી પાસ થઇ શકાશે નહી કારણ કે પ્રશ્નપત્ર સેટ કરનાર વ્યક્તિ મુર્ખ નહી હોય કે તે કોઇ પુસ્તકમાંથી બેઠે બેઠા પ્રશ્નો પુછે. તેથી દરેક મિત્રોએ આ વાતને ખાસ ધ્યાને રાખી કોઇપણ પરીક્ષા માટે મટીરિયલ્સ શોધવાને બદલે તેના સિલેબસ અનુસાર પાયાનું જ્ઞાન મેળવવું જોઇએ. ઉદાહરણ તરીકે જો તલાટી પરીક્ષાની વાત કરીએ તો તલાટી પરીક્ષા અભ્યાસક્રમનો એક ટૉપીક ‘ગુજરાતી વ્યાકરણ’ છે. આ ઉદાહરણમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ તલાટી પરીક્ષાનું ગુજરાતી વ્યાકરણનું મટીરિયલ શોધવાને બદલે ગુજરાતી વ્યાકરણનો પાયો મજબૂત કરવો જોઇએ જેથી કોઇપણ પરીક્ષામાં તે ઉપયોગી થઇ શકે. આ જ રીતે અંગ્રેજી વ્યાકરણ, સામાન્ય જ્ઞાન, અંક ગણિત વગેરેનો પાયાનો અભ્યાસ કરવો જોઇએ જેથી કોઇપણ પરીક્ષામાં તે ઉપયોગી થઇ શકે.

જો આ રીતે પરીક્ષાઓની તૈયારી કરવામાં આવશે તો કોઇ પ્રકાશના પુસ્તકની અથવા કોઇ કોચીંગ સેન્ટરની જરૂર પડશે નહી કારણ કે આપણે એટલા સક્ષમ છીએ કે પુસ્તક વાંચીને તેનું સ્વ-અધ્યયન કરી જ શકીએ.

4. Narendra Modi is said to have learnt the true meaning of hardship and determination during the time he spent the time selling teas along with his brother at State Transport Office in Ahmedabad.

5. Narendra Modi became the longest-serving Chief Minister in Gujarat’s history. Modi was in power for 2,063 days continuously when he resumed CM post in 2007. He took oath to become the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time in 2001. Currently he is serving his fourth consecutive term as Gujarat CM.

6. Narendra Modi during the phase of his sanyasi had just two pair of clothes but the likely Prime Mnister has been very particular about the way he looks in the public. He is very particular about wearing wrinkle-free and ironed dresses. He has favourite cloth store Jade Blue of Ahmedabad which he prefers for his dresses. 7. Narendra Modi might not have been provided with a visa in 2005 to US but the irony is Modi has done a three month course in public relations and image management in US. 9. Narendra Modi fasts all nine days during Navratra every year. He has only one fruit a day during this time. Modi has built a Rs 70 crore-plus Shaktipeeth parikrama on the Gabbar hillock.

10. Narendra Modi may come across as conservative personality but is an enthusiast when it comes to technology. He does not miss to check news about himself everyday on internet. He is also very fond of latest collection of watches.
