Detailed Syllabus of IBPS RRB Officer Scale I / Probationary Officer (PO) Exam
This time the exam is going to be Online. That means there are less chances for lengthy questions.
The online exam consists of the following sections. Each sections
consists of 40 Questions . You should solve them in 2 hours and 30
minutes time.

Difficulty Level of the Exam : The IBPS Regional Rural Banks
Exams are usually easier than normal IBPS Exams. The difficulty level of
IBPS RRB Officer Scale I exam will be almost similar to IBPS Clerical
exam.

- Antonyms (असमानार्थी शब्द)
- Checking mistakes in व्याकरण, à¤ाषा, वर्तनी

General Awareness
Usually for IBPS PO / Clerk exams in General Awareness section they ask
questions from Current Affairs and Banking Awareness in 50-50 basis. But
for IBPS RRB Exams they pay less attention on Banking Awareness. So,
you should mainly focus on Current Affairs.
- For Current Affairs you should concentrate all important events occured for last 6 months (excluding 15 days before the exam).

- For Banking Awareness you should focus on
- History of Banking

- no need to concentrate on Financial Awareness.
Note : The syllabus of IBPS RRB POs (Officer Scale I) and Clerks
(Office Assistants) is completely same. Only the difficulty level
varies. So, you can follow the above syllabus for Clerical preparation
too.
