When is Malala Day ? 12th July or 10th November ?

Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani student, child activist who was shot in the head by the Taliban for campaigning girls’ rights to an education, The Bravest Girl on earth.... oh, I guess no introduction needed for this name. Irrespective of Nation, everybody knows her and likes her, Don't you ? Ok, our discussion is not about Malala. Its about her Day. The Malala Day.
After updating our last post on International Days observed by UN  we have got a number of mails, by CORRECTING the Malala Day. Most of them claimed that Malala Day is not on 12th July its on 10th November. They have attached some url links too (published by Times of India and other renowned  websites) to support their version. Ofcourse, kinda confusing issue, isn't it ? If you search Malala Day in google, you will get 2 versions. One says it is on 10th November and others says its on 12th July. So, we felt we have to give clarity on this issue.
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon announced 10th November 2012 as Malala Day, a month after Malala was shot at by the Taliban for campaigning for girls' education in Pakistan to support her and her fight for education. 12 July 2013 is Malala Yousafzai’s 16th birthday. She celebrated this day at UN with her family. On this day, she delivered a wonderful speech at the UN to call for worldwide access to education. It was her first public speech since the attack. So the UN has officially announced 12th July as Malala Day.
Bottom Line : Initially UN announced 10th November as Malala Day, but now the date has been changed to Malala's Birthday (12th July).
